Clockwork Symphony: Being a True and Factual Account of the Marvels of the Machine Age

July 10th, 2009

One hundred and fifty three years ago, today, a great man was born. Through his life he learned things and postulated ideas that would not come to fruition until only recently. He is well known for his contributions in the field of robotics and remote controls. Radar and Computer Technology. But he is most remembered for his greatest achievements in the harnessing and control of electricity. Many credit Thomas Alva Edison for the invention of the incandescent light-bulb. But had it not been for this man's research and experiments into wireless electric transfer.

Nikola Tesla.

A man many claimed to be a mad scientist due to his penchant for what we know today as Fringe Sciences. His works are the foundation of the radio and many claim his theories explain how UFOs and various pseudo-sciences actually function. Whether there is truth to this matter or not remains to be seen.

Nikola Tesla died Sixty Seven years ago. Likely Within the lifetime of your parents or grandparents as you read this. At the age of 86 he died an impoverished man.

Let us all remember well, this man. And let us all mark this day, the day of his birth, as a day of marvel and wonder. A day for inventors and idealists to create a better world. In the following weeks and months we, the Clank Crew, will build a different world.. A World of Speculative fiction wherein one might meet Nikola Tesla. Where one could see the fantastic realm created in a world where "Fringe" sciences are as real as any and their rules and laws are applied to daily living.

Welcome to the Clockwork Symphony. Welcome to the Future's Past.

Though the night's still glowing round
Yet I know the day is bad
Pop stars in a paper bread
And again I find my face
All neglected, out of place
In my hair there is some spray

-bows- It is a pleasure to meet you as well. I love  your work; you and your cohorts have taken the steampunk to a level I have never even imagined. On top of that, all of the photographs are beautiful and have a feel about them that makes me think that really could have been taken in this alternate universe. Wonderful job, keep it up!

Thank you muchly for the watch, sir.

You were certainly a fun bunch to meet at MetroCon. If you're there again next year, I'll make sure to stop by the booth and say hi if I make it.

Check out my Gallery! I'm a musician in my spare time (when I manage to find some), so stop on by for homemade musics!

Quite! I enjoyed chatting with you as well.

Unless some calamity befalls us, we'll be back next year.

Very well, then. If I'm there, I'll make a point to stop by.

Also, Sunday I bought a katana, much the same style as I believe you have. I was going to show you before I left, but you weren't around at the time. The only difference is the color.
