We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. I believe it was, perhaps unsurprisingly, some kind of two-horned rhinocerous creature. The comic reffered to them as Rynth, if I recall. I haven't read it in many years, but it was something like that.
The planet was entirely covered by dusty canyons and desert and was used by the Predators for thousands of years as breeding and hunting ground for their prey, the Aliens. The plot begins when The Corporation from the Aliens movies sets up colonies and research facilities on the planet. And a nice little three way massacre gets going from there.
Originally, the script for the movie Aliens Versus Predator was exactly the story from this comic book, but then they decided to go with something totally different, and in my opinion, much less cool. *le sigh*
