The claws I made from quarter inch aluminum, leather, steel springs, and brass hardware. Not only is the costume well done, but the portrait is superbly spooky as well!  Superb work on the claws, and the image overall sounds off a dreadful looming thump of a telltale heart. You look completely and totally different which I say, is a goal well met. Grand debut sir!  Somewhere Tim Burton is settling into a poofy red armchair, stroking his chin and going 'hmmm...' Terrific work  - Why is a raven like a writing desk?  Oh! Those claws are rather amazing
As is the likelyness - I am actually reminded of Edgar -- "...and the earth becomes my throne I adapt to the unknown Under wandering stars I've grown By myself but not alone"  Well done, sir! I wouldn't have recognized you had it not been for your sideburns!

But if you're actually gonna be going for the blue veins on the temples, I recommend using airbrush make-up. Makes them look more natural.  Recently I've read some of his work for the lecture classes; I really enjoyed his poem "Never more" (this was my first association after reading the title).
I find dressing up as "real dead people back from the graves" more sophisticated than dressing up as "typical" Halloween monsters. Good work! -- INFINITE, INSANE, IMMORTAL and perhaps IMMORAL... It may be IMPOSSIBLE, but that's what my Wonderful MAD Dream is...  I'd like to see more detail on the claws, please.
